  • We seek to model the love of Christ to all with whom we have contact, particularly children, young people and vulnerable adults.  
  • The welfare of the child is paramount and is everyone’s responsibility as outlined in the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children.
  • National and Local legislation inform our practice and commitment. 
  • We commit to reporting and recording any incidents of concern where the physical, emotional, spiritual or sexual safety or wellbeing of any child or vulnerable person is at risk.

All leaders and volunteers who are involved in ministries and programs are

  • required to complete Safe Church Training through the Safe Church online modules and/or workshops.
  • required to have Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
  • expected to be familiar with and abide by the church Code of Practice and Safe Church Policy.
